This was a 3 week concept project whilst on my foundation at Birmingham Institute of Art & Design.

I decided to design a flat pack  cantilever chair that can be easily assembled yourself with no fixings. 

​

My goal was to make the chair from various laser cut materials, the user decides through a website.  

 

Although this is only a small to scale model and a lot of research and development would be needed to take this concept to a final product, I believe it has potential to work and look great.
